I found dead roaches under my comforter. I only noticed it after getting into bed, under the comforter, and feeling something itchy... I put on the lights, and checked what was causing that itch, and THERE THEY WERE... apparently trapped under the weight of the comforter... but dead dry...
We complained the following day, and my sister, who paid for the room, really said it was not acceptable. Quite right.
The breakfast buffet was quite satisfactory.... Very satisfactory, if you ask me. The Service Crew of their buffet place are very accommodating, courteous, and very helpful. Twice, I asked one of the service staff to give me a paper cup so I can bring along coffee to our room. Without delay, the wait staff went to the Cafe and got me the cup... really commendable.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. Azalea's amenities are sufficient, service was quick and service staff show eagerness to be of help. The level of sophistication of the facilities may not be as high as what you can fiind in some of the high end hotels in Manila, but Azalea is sufficient and comfortable.... except for the roaches.

Love this place. Deserves it's 4-star hotel rating. The rooms were amazing, the amenities given (like the shampoo, lotion, etc.) were nice. The beds, comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and nice. Our suite room had a little kitchen as well with a microwave, electric stove, and cooking utensils plus dinnerware & silverware. The exterior is beautiful especially at night when its lights are on, plus there's a little playground. Will definitely come back in the future. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this hotel despite the fact it's 6 years old.
The staff is the saving grace. I think from raves I expected too much from Azalea. The rooms are fine but not much to write about. The bathroom is alright. The sheets are clean though a bit rough and that also applies to towels. Walls are a bit thin. I can hear music played from the next room. It's really the staff that makes me leave the hotel unbegrudgingly.
Not the cleanest but it will get you by. If you have a large family and it's good. But shop around using others apps. There are better places to choose from
