Reviews from visitors:
Simply relaxing in these trying times. Camp John Hay boasts nature-filled view from the outskirts of an urbanized city and right at the heart is The Manor. Despite the clutter amidst the pandemic, The Manor has kept its ground keeping their guests safe and yet very accommodating still. We didn't have a need to go out since everything is provided and the balcony alone already presents a stunning view of nature. Even being covered by a mask, every staff greets you with a smile oh and yeah, kudos to the security guards who never fails to call the attention of those who don't wear their masks and face shields properly. Le Chef is not pricey for no reason. Their steak cooked so tenderly fine that every drop of its juice has a savory flavor that fills your mouth with each bite. The Manor has the finest accommodation, friendly service, and a paradise to stay in.
A long time tradition for us to spend the Valentine's day at the Manor.. despite the stringent policy of the city about COVID we still enjoyed the weather, scenery and the people. Yes, Benguet locals are so much friendlier and welcoming. My advice for tourists like me to respect the protocols at all time.
Staycation weekend. We are Baguio residents so we got the promo. We rarely go there and it was my 1st time to actually stay in their rooms. Very big and spacious. They were renovating/painting the room across ours and the paint smell was in our room. We told them about it and they put fans and ionizers in the hall. That solved it. Really friendly staff. The food is delicious but pricey. One thing they should look into is their super thick/high pillows. They didn't have any normal or low pillows. When you lie down your neck is angled too high. If you stay here and you have neck/back issues or even sleeping issues you may want to bring your own pillow.
I went here for the breakfast buffet. Absolutely wonderful. The food, the view. I will stay here next time I'm in Baguio.
The allure of The Manor at Camp John Hay is unmistakable. Be dazzled by the mountain scented paradise beyond compare.
Surrounded with pine-covered mountains, a cool climate breeze averaging 19 degrees Celsius all year round, take time to bask in romantic sunsets, enjoying a casual stroll along tree line roads on what used to be an American military recreational camp, with towering pine trees while the majestic Cordillera mountain range provides a magnificent view.
As Baguio City re-opens its doors to tourists once again after months-long of quarantine, The Manor at Camp John Hay offers a fresh environment, so aesthetically beautiful that it draws guests out of a normal routine and mindset where one can forget all worries and instead dabble in everything The MANOR has to offer. The Manor at Camp John Hay is surely your safe haven in the City of Pines.
