Lovely all around! Complimentary beer upon check in was a nice welcome, haha. The bar is great and so is the food. Very lively. Great place to meet locals and travelers alike!
Thay have everything i needed and that's a big deal for me
Great breakfast. Rooms were a good size and the fridge was totally stocked with all sorts of fire waters. Nice green belt in the middle of the hotel.
What a beautiful setting the bar staff were phenomenal so friendly and attentive nothing was to much trouble. I have been there several times now and every time I am more impressed with the setting and the service. The food is amazing I was there for Thanksgiving and wow even though they were sooooooooooo extremely busy it was worth the wait. The food was freshly prepared and definitely made with love the executive chef did a amazing job with the menu and the flavors were decadent. The home made chocolate pecan pie was so yummy and made fresh I love this place. If you are planning a family friendly or pet friendly night out this is the place I would choose you won't be disappointed (unless you are a Karen) they also have live music with an open air patio If you just want drinks

My husband decided to pamper the family and have us not cook nor clean for Thanksgiving. So I picked The Water Trough for their Thanksgiving menu.
Our family party of 6 arrived at 6:00. No hostess, so the bartender told me there was a 45 minutes wait. I was confused because there was less than a hand full of tables busy. She responded, we are out of silverware. So we waited. After 45 minutes went by I went to check our status. She then asked if we knew what we wanted to eat, without being seated. She hands me the menu. So I go outside and get our order then bring it back to her. She then says oh, this is going to be an hour more wait! I was like what happened to the 45 minutes? They said its that we have had over a hundred orders come in from the hotel and they are priority.
We decided to leave and all went home without celebrating our family's Thanksgiving dinner. Hungry to boot everywhere else was closed.
I cried myself to sleep. Such a disappointment that will never be forgotten.
