Extremely friendly service. Mike was so sweet and accommodating. The water in the shower was out so we were given another beautiful view of the pool and city and free parking. The details throughout the hotel were exceptional. We were at walking distance to our favorite restaurant, Suerte. Such a stylish, wonderfully built hotel with a pool and fireplace.
Plus side:
-The hotel was very nice and has a fun retro theme which I loved
- comfortable beds
- nice attentive staff
Down side:
- The garage was broken so the typical security they usually have with it being a locked garage was lost
- The system had a glitch locking us out of our room thinking it was our checkout day (it was not) so we had to get all new cards to get in the room
- Didn’t have turn-down service or any restock (towels,water,etc) to our room
Eclectic, aesthetic, retro rooms in walking distance to tons of art, food trucks, restaurants and the Austin art scene. Location is perfect!

My roommate and I booked a room on Feb 15 during this ongoing Icepocalypse because we had no power or heat for over 12 hours. The booking went through with no issue. Tried calling them to confirm but no answer. No communication via email or phone about the hotel shutting down or canceling our booking. We ended up walking for almost an hour because we couldn’t find a ride and felt unsafe to drive, only to find a small sign on the door saying they were closed. Another older lady also walked and found out the hard way. Sorely disappointed in the way everything was mishandled. Why did they accept our booking when the hotel was shut down, and why wasn’t someone canceling bookings or communicating with guests? We were left stranded downtown in the freezing cold. They only officially “cancelled” our booking at 7pm.
