This is a good hotel with an amazing view: if you get an upper floor you will see the city and the colorado river, if you get a low floor you will see the parking lot. The parking lot isn't that favorable. At the end I think the place worth the price. It's really nice to see the view of the highway during the night and people running early morning with their dog next in the park around the river.
It was great staying here! I think everything was wonderful considering the crazy week we had with power outages and the water shutting off. The room was warm, nice and clean as well as the bathroom which had hot water running, but just wanted to say maybe check the towels if they have holes in them haha The location isn’t right in downtown but it’s really nice to just walk upriver towards it (takes about 20 minutes) and then enjoy the day and food there! Thank you everyone at the front desk :)
What a FABULOUS Hotel & the location is AMAZING. Right on Town Lake & walking distance to everything downtown!
What made our stay EXTRA special was Aubrey C at the Reservation desk!
We had gotten home & I realized I had left my Anniversary gift in the room. I called, spoke with Aubrey C!
He put me on hold, came back on & said he had my gift!!

Great get away for a few days.
We were given a very noisy room facing the highway. We asked to change to a quiet room but were told that only rooms with river view are quiet and to move to such a room, we would pay quite extra money.
We had to get our booking agent involved and they reluctantly allowed us to move to a quiet room of same kind as ours. The experience getting an essentially quiet room is terrible.
If you would not like to pay the price for river view room that is higher than those better hotels nearby, you need to have your ear plugs ready for a comfortable night sleep.
