Nick who works downstairs in the bar area was absolutely awesome in handling an issue my bf & I had. I highly recommend this hotel on the basis that the manager really cares about his guests! Thank you Nick!
Came here around a year ago and had a great time. Pool setting was very nice and the hotel is close to most things downtown. If you do go to the pool make sure you come out early for a seat in the shade. It gets blazing hot.
The entire staff was outwardly friendly, overtly helpful and made the stay incredible. Really, no bad marks, but I’d like to bring special attention to the bar manager Jesse who was an incredible host multiple nights to our group. Also, Mary at the front desk constantly went above and beyond, yet did so with ease and every bit a reminder it was “no problem at all”. I haven’t seen collective service at this high a level, maybe ever. Whoever hired and trains this staff needs to be applauded as well.
Valet won't let me park in loading area to check in unless I agreed to valet. Basically unless you want to drag your stuff multiple city blocks expected to pay $50 + tip. Not a very good experience, should allow self parking or at least a chance to load stuff without having to drag it across downtown Austin.
