A few weeks late on this review but I had a fantastic experience. I had a one night stay here while I hiked near town several days before Christmas. The hotel seemed nearly empty. The campus was also quiet and seemingly deserted. Students were on break and since people are distancing, it was an ideal stay. Mostly quiet, with the exception of someone playing instruments and music several doors down (wasn't very noticeable). The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. One of their restaurants closed due to precaution, but their cafe was open. Never saw another person in it, other than the employees. They were extremely nice. Room felt clean. Parking cost but was simple (garage). Would stay again.
Not impressed... went for two nights but not for a conference. I think it might be better fir conferences only . They don’t do housekeeping each day which is appalling . No valet service and lack of amenities or food . Only one cafe and it’s limited- everything was closed and a ghost town
Nothing around in the blocks around . Also , they advertise a king bed but they are queen size at the most . False advertising... Never again will I stay here
I'm shocked to see all of these bad reviews being posted on the day of a historical winter storm that's affected the whole state! All of the hotels are full and a large majority of people are without power and/or water, for an unknown amount of time, and it's not safe to drive. Oh and we're still in a pandemic! The limited hotel and food service staff is doing a great job and have been friendly during this time. Thank you, stay safe and warm!
Everything was perfect about this hotel. The staff were so helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Great views and 2 min walking distance from Guadalupe. You can walk to Target, Canes, Chick-fil-a, amy's ice cream, and more in minutes. Never knew it was a hotel but I am glad we found it. We will be back!
Always a fantastic choice. The rooms are sparkling and the staff is above and beyond. If you are thinking of having your event hosted here, do it! The meals (bread pudding with carmel sauce specifically) makes the entire stay 5 Star.
