Reviews from visitors:
Excellent service and genuinely kind staff. We came in this past weekend 2-27/28 for our 3rd anniversary. We mentioned this to the lady at reception who was very warm and helpful. When I came back that night to claim our free drinks, a different woman remembered that it was our anniversary and allowed to to choose anything for our free drink. Really made us feel special :)
The room was very cute and had all the essentials. No carpet! Smart move. Everything was very clean and well decorated. The blackout curtains were a great addition, and the warm lighting was appreciated. Queen sized bed was about medium firmness and was very homey to sleep on. Walls are somewhat thin, but that wasn't too concerning to us.
One place for improvement is the parking garage. We left and came back to see that there was only one spot in the entire garage open. I am glad that it was available, but it was concerning that there might not have been a spot guaranteed for us after paying $40 (and I am recovering from a recent broken ankle)
Overall, the Moxy is a sweet spot for 20-30 somethings, and maybe some 40 somethings if they enjoy a club/lounge vibe. Definitely nails the millennial budget for $133 a night, with in and out parking. As a gay couple, we felt very safe and honored here and will definitely come back.
Super cute. Super fun. Clean rooms. Check in at bar was quick. Got a complementary drink. Taco stand had good food. Drinks at the bar were pricey. Got charged twice for parking. Other than that it was great.
Such a fun and trendy hotel! The rooms have everything you need (including a steamer in every room!) and are so stylish and comfortable. I love the public spaces: the vinyl wall, the lighting fixtures, the lobby restrooms, the gym, and most of all, Bar Moxy. The Managers, Demetrius and Jeanine, are the best- they are some of the kindest people you will ever come across and they make you feel right at home! The house-made cocktails are amazing- especially the Word for Word which was made with Strawberry and Basil. Also, the location is perfect! there are multiple bars and restaurants within a couple blocks. I'll definitely be back.
Nice new (January 2021) hotel just off campus that had cool but very small rooms fit for one or two people (even rooms with two beds not good for families).
The entire room is open except for the toilet, which is in a closet (it's nice), so the shower and sink are open to the bed area, with a long curtain available to close off the space...that's why good for couples or families with very small children.
Rates of less than a hundred dollars are very reasonable but parking garage is expensive and maybe not necessary, with safe and free street parking behind hotel from 6pm-8am and all day Sunday.
I loved it here, first time visit was amazing. Stayed during Covid it was very clean. The only thing was the room didn’t have a fridge. I’d stay here again most definitely. Check in was amazing ❤️.
Parking is a bit rough it’s a new location so they’re still trying to figure it out
