Love this apartment! Amazing how peaceful and pretty the view is from this beautiful residence. Hard to believe given this place is smack bang in the middle of the city centre! Comfy bed, fast wifi, fully stocked and functional kitchen. Very funky and cool. Home away from home in what must be the best location in Auckland.

3 The Hotel Britomart

Absolutely lovely hotel, my favourite in the city. From the incredible restaurant down stairs to the interior design work of the whole building. The front desk staff were as welcoming as grandma on a Sunday afternoon. Warm environment. Well worth the money
4 Fort Street Hostel

I have been to many hostels in Auckland city and this one is by far the best in my opinion. Why ? When I first arrived in New Zealand this is the place where I was able to meet great people from all parts of the world and also by fate travelled and worked with them later on in the South. Fort street hostel is in a good shape compared to many other hostels I’ve seen. The common room is spacious and the kitchen is located on the rooftop which is pretty cool. Morning coffee with a view at the harbor in the morning Yes! The staff are nice and helpful and they smile! not like a fake smile I’ve seen so many times. Of course show respect and the same will apply. Handy tips : best shower? is located lvl3, left side last one on the right. You’re welcome

Why haven't we found you before, so hidden away in High Street? Such an amazing hotel and the service and food was unbelievable. Im staying next time, promise.
6 The Quadrant Hotel & Suites

Good central Auckland hotel with parking. We have stayed twice as a family in one of the apartments - open plan sitting room, dining area kitchen (cupboards with plates glasses and cookware). Bathroom was clean and modern (There was no bath but there was a washing machine and separate dryer with sachets of washing liquid supplies). Two double bedrooms, AC and balcony with good views from the upper floors. We walked to the harbour and ate at the Sky Tower and on another occasion had takeaway food delivered. The hotel proved good value for money. The staff on reception we're excellent and a credit to the company.
7 Hotel Grand Windsor

The hotel is ideally located right in the middle of the CBD, within easy walking distance of bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Viaduct and Commercial Bay. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was nicely appointed. We had booked the Duchess Suite, and having a separate lounge area was great to relax in. The only downside was you do get a bit of noise from nearby bars and clubs but not much can be done about that, just bring your earplugs. Would definitely stay again.
8 Hotel The Sebel Quay West Auckland

images
This hotel has severely restricted access at the moment because of the roadworks or should I say rail works going on outside the hotel's main entrance. Management and staff are doing an excellent job of making everything work all the same. Car parking is well organised as best they can and access is not too bad via foot at the front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious clean and tidy represent quite good value for money.
9 The Shakespeare Restaurant & Brewery

Very friendly and accommodating. Great service! I hope the construction companies are compensating this place because they have really messed the surroundings up. Really nice building and vibe! Good spot for a pint.
10 M Social Auckland

I was in isolation here with my 3 children. Beautiful place. Loved the big room and big bed. The big white towels and the shower were gorgeous. The staff were amazing every time I needed something they were there within minutes. The view maybe one of the best views in New Zealand while in isolation. Thanks to everyone that made our stay simple.

13 Attic Backpackers

A Quaint and Quiet Place to Stay
Upon the prompt closure of Base Backpackers, I had to find a new place to reside temporarily for business purposes. The team at Attic were super friendly, welcoming and inviting which was great after a very unpleasant experience at Surf n Snow Backpackers (a place with awful customer service and low quality facilities). Attic Backpackers honoured the prices for customers who came to them from Base, which meant I got a very generous and unexpected discount. Much appreciated.
The check-in process was easy. The premises were tidy. I was given a tour of the establishment on arrival and enjoyed my very short stay. The bunk beds were very easy to get into and they felt solid and sturdy.
Attic has a higher price point than other backpackers nearby, but it is worth it. Attic is quite a small backpackers. The rooms require manual keys rather than keycards. Other people staying there were friendly. Overall, the experience was enjoyable.

14 Hilton Auckland

We were celebrating our 20 year anniversary, The Hilton Auckland had touches like early check-in, balloons in the room, yummy chocolates, red velvet muffins, and a voucher for the bar. Valet parking was made so easy on arrival and we were greeted with smiles and helpful advice. Our room was spectacular and beyond our expectations. The view lovely. We had dinner at The Fish and this was the best Snapper i have had, delicious all round and well worth the visit. Our breakfast the next morning was very yummy and the choices were many. The staff very helpful and attentive. Overall the best experience at a hotel i have had here and overseas, thank you The Hilton.
