Stayed in private room with bathroom for one night and it was good. Information was well delivered and room was neat and clean. There was a much needed fan in the room and we slept with windows slightly open and no bugs came in. We never used any of the other facilities but it should be good if it compares to the rest of the place. Area is quite dodge (for NZ) but some cool bars around and it's an easy walk to Wynyard Quarter.

Kind friendly staff, nice clean rooms, and an amazing kitchen and common room!
They had a big fridge for your groceries and when you left the staff had a section for free food left behind that was great if you’d forgotten something at the store. Overall great experience!
We chose to book a room that had a private bathroom. This was basically like a hotel instead of a hostel. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would stay here again.
I checked in late and I had perfect instructions on how to get in after hours. Sleeping was peaceful and curtains helped maintain privacy. The kitchen is big and a nice place to interact and meet people!
