Lovely place. Good for medium sized groups. Ideal location, close to the estuary, beach and dairy. Outdoor set up was also great for chilling.
We stayed in a lovely apartment in whitianga. The property was as described and well located with great facilities. The booking process was easy and the communication was excellent. Would definitely book with Bachcare holiday homes again
Update to original review: After writing the original review a response was posted offering apology and a response within 24 hours. No such response has been received. Be aware, any issues or problems with a rental will likely be poorly managed by this company. Even when feedback or issues are raised in good faith.
We paid high rates for a bad rental. The local rental manager was good and we were asked to give feedback about the property we stayed. We gave detailed feedback highlighting serious privacy and some safety concerns about the rental we used, as well as numerous other basic issues/ missing essential items. We received no response or acknowledgement from Bachcare or the rental owners despite specifically requesting some reassurance that the privacy and safety issues had been addressed.
Jacks Lodge is an incredible place for a family holiday, the accomodation was outstanding. The comfort of the beds was amazing like sleeping on clouds. Eva and Markus were amazing so helpful and great communication throughout. Jacks Lodge is more impressive than the photos show and we will be coming back again. Everyone had an awesome time here so close to town but far enough away to enjoy the views and peace and quiet.
Excellent place with everything well equipped, Serena was very lovely and helpful too. She responded to email very fast and explained things so clearly. We all had great relax time over there. Will looking forward to coming back next year.
