I was in isolation here with my 3 children. Beautiful place. Loved the big room and big bed. The big white towels and the shower were gorgeous. The staff were amazing every time I needed something they were there within minutes. The view maybe one of the best views in New Zealand while in isolation. Thanks to everyone that made our stay simple.
My stay was excellent. The service was impressive , the staff were incredibly nice, the food was top-class and my room was spacious and it was a warm and welcoming room. I love this hotel and I loved isolating at M Social.

I can't even begin to explain how incredibly grateful I feel to be here staying at M-SOCIAL. Me and my partner were assigned this hotel for hotel quarantine, not only was the airport experience seamless and quick, but as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the most incredible staff, honestly, never in my life have I been spoken to and treated with such respect. We had to wait whilst people were being signed in and as we did, all of the air force and hotel staff sparked conversations with us, making us feel at ease and making us feel so welcome, comfortable and at home, the process of checking in was quicker than any normal check in I've ever experienced. This was incredible considering we are staying here for managed isolation. The organisation of the staff and the process for our check in was clearly designed to be quick and to get us up to our rooms ASAP and again, make us feel comfortable.
We then spoke to April at reception and she gave us all of our information and assigned us our room, she was so incredibly friendly too, and even remembered our names the next day when we went down for some fresh air.
From that moment on, everything has been perfect, I cannot fault anything or anyone, the hotel is the most comfortable, clean and beautiful place I have ever stayed in, within the first hour of being here we said we would return if we ever needed to stay in the city. The food, security and staff have all been incredible. The staff make so much effort to get to know you and cheer you up, the service is impeccable and I only hope more people share their positive experiences as the team here deserve to be credited. I am vegan and my partner vegetarian and the meals are some of the most creative and tastiest foods I have ever had, we get excited for every meal. It really feels as if every single tiny detail has been thought out and had time put into and we feel extremely grateful. We are so excited about our next 10 days of quarantine and feel so blessed we were lucky enough to be sent here.
After a crazy five and half months in lockdown in melbourne, it has been a breath of fresh air and a light at the end of the tunnel arriving into Auckland and coming to M- Social, I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.
Nice modern rooms close to restaurants and great view of the water
One word - WONDERFUL! I stayed for two weeks here in Managed Isolation & Quarantine (MIQ) through to early November 2020. I was lucky. The M Social is a great MIQ hotel - exceptional staff, health workers & a Defense force team who all go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone is willing to do everything small and larger to make your stay be as comfortable as possible. Well appointed rooms - not huge but they seem more than large enough. Spectacular views of the harbour (esp. if you are in the eastern end - which I was) and also solid internet speeds - which is important! Thank you also to the New Zealand Government for this opportunity to come back home and to be so well looked after. Thank you so much to all the great border works, hotel staff, health and defense team workers here for your courage. Stay safe and well.
