Nice place but showing its age. Alot of street noise. A big let down was the view on the website has gone years ago with a big building in the way. Not what we expected when we booked
This hotel has severely restricted access at the moment because of the roadworks or should I say rail works going on outside the hotel's main entrance. Management and staff are doing an excellent job of making everything work all the same. Car parking is well organised as best they can and access is not too bad via foot at the front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious clean and tidy represent quite good value for money.
Originally was meant to stay at the Grand Mercure but as they are still booked out for isolation we were swapped to The Sebel. Staff were super lovely & welcoming! We got given the two bedroom apartment & it was fantastic! Although one of the bathrooms shower didn’t work properly the rest of the room and the view was great. A bit of mis-communication from staff as we were told check out was 2pm and then found out it was 11am the morning of checkout, also apparently have to register your car if you intend on parking at the hotel. No issues though, we will know for next time. Will 100% be a next time! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and such a good location to get to the viaduct & the rest of the city. Highly recommend anyone to stay here

The Quay West is a real hidden gem in Auckland. Stayed in an extraordinarily spacious 1 bedroom suite with a lovely view of the waterfront. The hotel was very quiet and the 17th floor kept the noise at bay from the street works below. The staff are great.
