1 The Shakespeare Restaurant & Brewery

Very friendly and accommodating. Great service! I hope the construction companies are compensating this place because they have really messed the surroundings up. Really nice building and vibe! Good spot for a pint.
2 Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

Such a wonderful hotel to spend a weekend away. Staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. Suite was luxurious and peaceful, had such a good sleep in! Breakfast was incredibly tasty with a relaxing outlook over the water. Highly recommend staying here.
3 Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport

Though it was not nice to be isolated for 2 weeks, we have nothing but praise for the staff of Naomi Hotel Auckland. They were friendly, helpful and respectful. We were so thankful to go for daily walks in the fresh air. When and if things return to normal we will definitely use Naomi again. We thank you al very sincerely.
Also to food was very nice. A great range over the 14 days and very tasty. We will tell all our family and friends about your great hotel. Thank you.
4 Hotel DeBrett

Why haven't we found you before, so hidden away in High Street? Such an amazing hotel and the service and food was unbelievable. Im staying next time, promise.
5 The Devereux Boutique Hotel

Clean and tidy. Good service. Very comfortable bed. Lovely character. Thank you for the stay
6 Park Hotel – Auckland City

Nice clean room quite considering how close to the motorway we are.
The shower drain is in an odd place and floods the bathroom floor. Also there is no where to put soaps in the shower which gets more water over the floor.
Very convenient to K Road and all of the wonderful places to eat!
I'd certainly stat here again.
7 Hotel Grand Windsor

The hotel is ideally located right in the middle of the CBD, within easy walking distance of bars, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Viaduct and Commercial Bay. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was nicely appointed. We had booked the Duchess Suite, and having a separate lounge area was great to relax in. The only downside was you do get a bit of noise from nearby bars and clubs but not much can be done about that, just bring your earplugs. Would definitely stay again.
8 Hotel Fitzroy curated by Fable

Fantastic stay at this new secluded boutique hotel. Very attentive staff who welcomed us and made sure we were looked after. Comfortable well appointed suites with stylish design. Nice welcome drinks and canapes at 5pm. A good choice of breakfast options, super tasty. I thoroughly recommend this place and will be staying again.
9 QT Auckland

Amazing staycation for our wedding anniversary. Lovely little extra touches of champagne and balloons awaiting us in the room. Super cool interior style as well as being very quiet and comfortable. Loved the rooftop bar! Great location and great staff. Would totally recommend this hotel to stay.
10 M Social Auckland

I was in isolation here with my 3 children. Beautiful place. Loved the big room and big bed. The big white towels and the shower were gorgeous. The staff were amazing every time I needed something they were there within minutes. The view maybe one of the best views in New Zealand while in isolation. Thanks to everyone that made our stay simple.
11 The Quadrant Hotel & Suites

images
Good central Auckland hotel with parking. We have stayed twice as a family in one of the apartments - open plan sitting room, dining area kitchen (cupboards with plates glasses and cookware). Bathroom was clean and modern (There was no bath but there was a washing machine and separate dryer with sachets of washing liquid supplies). Two double bedrooms, AC and balcony with good views from the upper floors. We walked to the harbour and ate at the Sky Tower and on another occasion had takeaway food delivered. The hotel proved good value for money. The staff on reception we're excellent and a credit to the company.
12 The Hotel Britomart

Absolutely lovely hotel, my favourite in the city. From the incredible restaurant down stairs to the interior design work of the whole building. The front desk staff were as welcoming as grandma on a Sunday afternoon. Warm environment. Well worth the money
13 Haka Lodge Auckland

images
Stayed in private room with bathroom for one night and it was good. Information was well delivered and room was neat and clean. There was a much needed fan in the room and we slept with windows slightly open and no bugs came in. We never used any of the other facilities but it should be good if it compares to the rest of the place. Area is quite dodge (for NZ) but some cool bars around and it's an easy walk to Wynyard Quarter.
14 Park Hyatt Auckland

images
Words can’t explain how much of an effort Park Hyatt made during my stay. The service was exceptional and the staff are so friendly. Level of detail throughout the place is the highest quality. This would be the nicest spot in Auckland. The food was also top notce and will be back in due course.
15 Bachcare Holiday Homes

images
Lovely place. Good for medium sized groups. Ideal location, close to the estuary, beach and dairy. Outdoor set up was also great for chilling.
16 Sudima Auckland City

I have stayed here with my husband and we were more than overwhelmed with how welcoming and professional staff were. Hotel interior is beautiful and colours are my style so I felt a lot like at home. We were given a $50 voucher for food or drinks to use in hotel restaurant. This time we only had cocktails and they were amazing. We had to leave earlier than we planned but hotel was happy to bill us only for those days we were there which we really appreciate.
Cons: The room had one light that did not work and the pipe under the sink was leaking but after addressing this to staff member they fixed it in no time. However it happened again and resulted in some of my clothes being soaked in water, but honestly it is not a big deal. When we just arrived the door lock did not work but again they fixed it in shortly. Another thing is breakfast. It is beautifully cooked but it is a bit on a smaller side and the quality of bread was a bit disappointing. It had cheap feel to it. Since we went to level 3 while we were there I was surprised that only one staff member wore mask that morning.
After addressing all the cons I would still happily recommend this place to my friends because of the loveliest staff and cleanliness of the rooms and location. They are a new hotel and still have room for improvement which I am sure they will make.
17 The Great Ponsonby Arthotel

images
This is my favourite place to stay in Auckland by far. If you’re returning from overseas this place with take you back and bring you home. It is your classic kiwi older style building with all the charm. Everything here is charming, the buildings, the staff and the location. Even the neighbours are charming (the elderly man across the road ran over to help my daughter lift her suitcase ☺️ then introduced us to the neighbourhood cat George who acts like he owns the place, as in all of Ponsonby) ALL are super friendly. The breakfast is fantastic and I constantly eat out for lunch so am a bit hard to please, it’s excellent a real treat. I’ve just returned from Queensland (post quarantine) with just my iPad and had some work to do that was fine they’ve got a laptop, fax printer etc. There are little treats everywhere, great spot to shopping and the best restaurants and a walkway and park right next door. All of the staff are a delight, honestly cute as punch. It’s a gem.

This is my absolutely favorite Hotel to stay in. Everything and everyone is amazing. Can't wait for my next stay.
19 Franklin38

images
Perfect. My partner and I had booked into what turned out to be a sad little studio in the CBD in New Year’s Eve. We did a quick search of nearby accommodation and Franklin38 appeared, and were able to fit us in at extremely short notice at 8pm.
The house is incredible, with original fittings and modern updates merging naturally to give a feeling of warmth and style. The husband and wife team checked us in and provided us with a beautiful room and en-suite (an impressive array of complimentary drinks and snacks included), and fresh hot and cold breakfasts each morning.
The bed is extremely comfortable, the room impeccably decorated, the bathroom fitted out wonderfully.
The added bonus of little griffins Bella and Archie push Franklin38 to a 6-star rating. We are now sitting in their common room after checking out, waiting for our cab to the airport. It feels like we are leaving home, not accommodation. If you’re planning on staying in the area, I can’t recommend Franklin38 enough.
20 Western Springs Villa

Lovely host - super accommodating and hospitable, beautiful room with comfy bed and all the basics we'd need for the might. We'd happily rebook and recommend. Thank you again!
