I recently stayed at The Kimpton Overland Hotel at 2 Porsche Dr Atlanta Ga 30354. This was my 1st stay at this particular IHG hotel.
There was a young lady by the name of Rachel. She works the night shift. I got there rather late around 2am Friday March 20, 2021. I was rather upset. Personal problems, just a different array of stuff I was dealing with.....Rachel DEFINITELY put a smile on my face. She was so accommodating & pleasant. I have had to basically live in hotels over the past few months and everyone isn't as nice as they use to be... This whole pandemic thing and all of the racial tension has changed society tremendously. I have had more bad experiences than good but this most recent stay at The Kimpton Overland was DEFINITELY a GOOD one ...a WONDERFUL one thanks to Rachel. It's good to know there's still nice and compassionate people left in the world...
Who doesn’t love a hotel that treats your fur baby like a human!! True pet friendly experience with NO PET FEE pet bed, water bowl and treat!! This hotel was beautiful and we saw Porsche vehicles on the safety course practicing. The hotel is beautiful, well decorated, spacious, clean and the breakfast was AMAZING and cooked fresh to order. Thank you for an awesome experience for my husband, fur baby and I.
We had a great experience at this hotel! They have a wonderful pet policy, allowing any size pet on certain floors only, so we were able to take our german shepherd. The hotel is very close to the airport but we couldn't hear anything inside. It's very close to the Porsche experience and even has a Porsche gift shop inside. Their parking system needs a little work but overall we were very impressed and will be looking for Kimpton Hotels in the future.
After driving for 13 hours and looking for a hotel to accommodate my dog we found this absolute gem. Free for my dog to stay, large king room. Shower products were top notch detail. Bed linens could not have been better. It was really a super lux hotel. Easy to access from busy Atlanta Traffic
It was quiet and clean. But we 0aid for a rate with food included and then the restaurant was closed. They offered to go bags with sandwiches for dinner and parfaits and juice for breakfast but charged us for them. $14 for a sandwich and chips.
Also the outer sores were locked eat, the parking gate didn't. Work and there were no ice machines on the floors ( the deck person when we checked out did fill our I've chest from the back room)
