Awesome, awesome staff.... You go L.J.!
Easily my favorite spot downtown. Walking access to everything, especially if you're going to AmericasMart.
Not huge rooms but just right for a boutique hotel.
Again, you will not find a better staff. They make everything better.
2 Artmore Hotel

images
This weekend was the first time me and family came to the Artmore hotel. First off its such a beautiful hotel...old but modern-day. The fire pit on the fountain gave me and my daughter life lol. The front desk staff was awesome and we will be back soon
3 Hotel Clermont

Extremely accommodating staff. Collin was exceptionally helpful. I called for a simple request of ice and two seconds after the call was over, they had the ice at my door. Highly recommend! Also, whoever hired Collin needs a raise, and Collin deserves to run the place. I will be staying here any time I need a room and recommending to all of my friends and colleagues. Thank you guys so much
4 The Georgian Terrace

What a beautiful historic hotel!! Right across the street from the Fox Theater within easy walking distance to midtown’s numerous restaurants, shopping and cultural attractions.
We came for a sweet 16 celebration and chose a three bedroom suite. It was clean as can be, spacious, and had a nice view. The beds were fabulously comfy and the bedrooms spacious. The community area was set comfortably and also had plenty of room. I did not take in room pics before we moved in so...sorry!
The full kitchen could be stocked a little more (no paper products or linens) and the tiny coffee maker was useless.
I will complain that we seemed to have no control over the thermostat (turn it up but no movement) and could not get the room warmer than 65. Our visit was in February, so a little more heat would have been nice, but it is a 100+ year old building. About midnight, I ventured to the front desk for blankets as they are not kept in the room. With COVID, I understand, but it would have been nice for someone to bring to us. I looked like the blanket monster making my way back to our suite.
When we visited the hotel restaurants were closed.
The staff was delightful, distancing is clearly encouraged, and the hotel was clean. They have self parking in an adjacent deck, $30/day to self park. The parking deck is scary but they all are to me, so take that for what it’s worth.
5 Glenn Hotel, Autograph Collection

My Wife took me there as a birthday gift, weekend getaway. Must say this had to be one of the best experience I've had as a guest. Every front desk personal was very professional and friendly. My pregnant wife ordered me Uber Eats and the front desk personal ran outside to flag them down and then handed it to my wife. The main floor and root top lounge was beautiful. The hallway and rooms are amazing. Love this place. Will definitely come back. Love the Lion theme
6 Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown

Shout out to Phillip and Jori. Had the worst experience with another hotel and Phillip definitely accommodated me to the best of his potential. He walked me through their process along with their check in early policy. I was super happy to walk in to a super spacious-luxurious clean room. I mean the little amenities to the comfortability of the beds, definitely made it a pleasant experience. Jori catered to me with her hospitality and assuring room service was taking care of me. Definitely worth the value, you pay for what you get and even though I paid a little more with this hotel, I feel like by far I still gotten a cheap rate. I will definitely be back.
7 W Atlanta – Downtown

images
I stayed at the W downtown as a weekend getaway for me and my girlfriend at the recommendation of a coworker, and I was beyond amazed with the view, the city lights, and friendly staff that made my stay all the more enjoyable. The front desk manager Ms. Linda was amazingly helpful and answered all of our questions that we had about our stay. She even went out of her way to give us a tour of the hotel and showed us bigger and better rooms if we wanted an upgrade or for future stays. Ms. Linda's customer service needs to be the company standard as I will definitely be returning to the W for my next Atlanta visit.
8 Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta

images
One of the best in Atlanta. Stayed here for a few days and enjoyed everything about this place. I will have to come back to enjoy more time in the spa. Their Bar Margot is open, Park 75 is not open right now. I do wish their pool hours were extended for a late soak after a day out in the city. Their food is always five star all the way. Tried almost all of their signature drinks, they didn’t disappoint. The oysters were great!
9 The Burgess Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

images
This is a great boutique hotel. Cool neighborhood in Buckhead close to amazing shops and restaurants. Wonderful bar in the lobby with craft cocktails and such a cool setting. We would definitely stay here again.
10 W Atlanta - Midtown

images
It was a good stay and almost all the staff was nice enough until you meet one of the shockingly rudest and unprofessional staffs who threw out your food from a food delivery without attempting to contact you before doing so. As an agent from one of Marriott's luxury line hotels, she refused to provide her name because she was so ashamed of treating a customer terribly and insisted to not showing her business card nor ID to avoid identity verification from a customer. I hope you did your training again, "Styles" if you were telling the truth, extremely disappointed at W and I will not come back again ever because of her but not because of her pleasant coworkers who worked their butt off to provide excellent service as always.
11 The Whitley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Atlanta Buckhead

images
I took my boys to a fancy hotel called The Whitley in Atlanta. Their first hotel experience and we stayed at a 5 star hotel. I feel as though I have set the bar too high already. Excellent experience. Family friendly with a Gigantic OPEN pool. I hope the Whitley continues to offer a 5 star experience at affordable prices. ($180 a night). The staff was so amazing to our boys that I know they will always remember the experience.

Stay here!!!! Please read...
John and Grace, as well as their staff, are warm, welcoming and all-around amazing! I can’t imagine a more wonderful place to stay in Atlanta. With handwritten notes, goodies and accommodating nature of their customer service, our experience was truly amazing. The little things make a great experience, but John and Grace ensure that little and big things alike are taken care of to the max. As hosts, John was attentive and able to share in our excitement about our vacation, he shared personal stories with us about the suite we stayed in (the Fowler in the Carriage House); Grace made us feel cherished with her superb cooking and attention to detail, and was the epitome of kindness and, well, grace! And don’t even get us started about the breakfast that Grace made for us... there are no words to describe the gourmet spread that was delivered to our room in the morning. Imagine saying “Wow” in the most excited, happy, contented voice you could, then multiply it by 100 and you might get close to how we felt after that meal!
The Fowler Suite itself was luxurious and echoed my earlier sentiment about the little and the big things. Everything was a delight. The pictures just don’t do it justice. If you are after romance, it’s the perfect room to stay in for every reason. It’s a sexy suite!!!
We can’t wait to return, you have customers for life!
Savanna and Tori :)
13 Loews Atlanta Hotel

images
Hotel is amazing. Check in the experience was fantastic, and Tyler was extremely helpful in the checking process. Room was comfortable and clean. Fitness center was excellent. My only issue was with the room service, as the sandwich I ordered came with a bottle of Tabasco that was well past expiration. Hot sauce is normally red and this was yellowish green. other than that, I had a fantastic and spirit and definitely would be back.
14 Hotel Indigo Atlanta Midtown

images
The hotel is beautiful, in a great location, and in a wonderful historic building. The rooms were clearly well thought out and had great touches that made it extremely comfortable. There were lots of easily accessible plugs, I LOVED that the fridge could be turned on and off as needed. The "entryway" at the door is such a nice place to put keys, shoes, phone chargers, etc. The shower was great with tall showerheads for tall folks, great water pressure.
What else? They had a quiet climate control, a comfortable bed, and a clean room. Staff is excellent! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and gave great insights into the neighborhood.
15 Kimpton Overland Hotel – Atlanta Airport

images
I recently stayed at The Kimpton Overland Hotel at 2 Porsche Dr Atlanta Ga 30354. This was my 1st stay at this particular IHG hotel.
There was a young lady by the name of Rachel. She works the night shift. I got there rather late around 2am Friday March 20, 2021. I was rather upset. Personal problems, just a different array of stuff I was dealing with.....Rachel DEFINITELY put a smile on my face. She was so accommodating & pleasant. I have had to basically live in hotels over the past few months and everyone isn't as nice as they use to be... This whole pandemic thing and all of the racial tension has changed society tremendously. I have had more bad experiences than good but this most recent stay at The Kimpton Overland was DEFINITELY a GOOD one ...a WONDERFUL one thanks to Rachel. It's good to know there's still nice and compassionate people left in the world...
16 The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta

images
Carmine & Caroline were amazing!
Do courteous, attentive, polite, and personable.
I was so well taken care of my entire stay which was mostly at AG.
Wonderful atmosphere.
Food was wonderful.
My evening server could've been a bit more friendly.
I can't wait to return!
17 Sheraton Atlanta Hotel

images
The hotel itself is very nice inside and seemingly secure however it is in a bit of a rough area. The room was clean and the pool and gym are both very nice, however it doesn’t inform you upon online check out when booking that parking is $35 a night, and when I checked in I was not asked for identification... anyone could have gone into my room.
18 Inn At The Peachtrees, Ascend Hotel Collection

images
This ESTABLISHMENT was not what I expected based on their pictures online. After my tour of the property, I was disgust. I spoke with management like a GENTLEMAN would and voiced my concerns. I would expect a fine ESTABLISHMENT such as this to provide basics such as towels and lights that work. Why did I splurge on this hotel only to be awoken at all hours of the night by the riff raft. When I went to the lobby in the night I was greeted by a homeless GENTLEMAN who woke up when I entered the lobby. He served as a makeshift concierge and I’m not sure if he’s on the payroll or just answers questions when they are short staffed. The only saving grace and redeeming quality I can say is that the lotions and soaps are of such quality and an invigorating scent that these are some of the finest I’ve used. I asked if they sold them by the bottle but they don’t. Come for the lotions but nothing else.
19 The Westin Buckhead Atlanta

We had business and came in town, we stay here and everything was great. Super clean, the room wS beautiful and the staff was very professional and met all our needs! I’d give them 5 stars and we will come back! The service was on point!
20 Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel

If anyone is looking for good deals for hotels check ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ reserved a hotel on there and they had the best prices any where!
The Renaissance Atlanta Midtown is my go to hotel when I need to be in Atlanta overnight. The staff is wonderful and makes you feel like family. I have been happy to get to know the front desk, restaurant, and some of the managers and they are always the nicest and most helpful people you will find.
I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. I last updated it in March 2025. If you know of a hipster hotel that should be on the list, let me know. Click here to contact me. Thanks!
