Our favorite meal in Greece. Great service, beautiful views, and delicious food.
It started with some wonderful breads and butter. The focaccia was light yet full of flavor. And love the salt on top.
The gazpacho was fresh and perfect. My only wish was that there was more of it.
The amuse bouche was cute and tasty. The fish shaped cracker was so good!
Both entrees were great (the risotto and the sea bass). The dark chocolate dessert was one of my husbands top desserts of all time. Full of spice and rich dark chocolate.
We pondered going back the following night - it was that good.
What an experience it was staying at the Zillers once again this October. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff and rooms with great views. Should definitely try the restaurant at the top, or at least enjoy some coffee with view of the Acropolis. Good price for value aswell. I am pretty sure I know where to stay the next time I'm visiting Athens for a few days.
Well, be extremely careful booking with Zillers Hotel! I booked a reservation in early 2020 for Sept. Covid hit, and they canceled all flights to Greece, and Europe. When I contacted them, they refused to refund as my reservation was "non refundable". They did say that I could rebook it for 2021, which I did. Then, when I went to them to confirm the booking for 2021, they had charged me and refused to do anything for me for 2021.
I completely understand a "non refundable" ticket, reservation, etc. HOWEVER, a forced cancellation from Covid 19 is different. I got NO response from them. Hence my word of caution, DO NOT BOOK WITH ZILLERS HOTEL!!!! They will rip you off!
Rooftop with a stunning view on the Acropolis. The food and cocktails were very good although a bit pricy for Greece. The waiters were also very friendly.
I would highly recommend even just for a cocktail and the amazing view at sunset.
Boutique hotel with a fantastic rooftop terrace. Rooms are lofty and clean. Doors are a bit thin, but ear plugs are provided in the vanity kit.
