Excellent service and beautifully decorated rooms! I asked for a birthday surprise for my husband and it was even better than expected. Located only a 15/20 min walk from the central station. Def 5 star recommend!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
This is a hidden gem! We booked this place to be able to stay on a canal without paying the high prices of the well-known hotels with the well-known restaurants. And you know what?! It was the best decision! I would recommend Mr. Jordaan to anyone visiting Amsterdam or for a staycation. The staff is incredible and friendly, the decor is on point (at least for us!) and the bed was comfy. Keep in mind that this hotel is in 400 year old buildings so you have to give a little on the space. It's not huge, but it's perfect for a couple-night stay in the center. Book the canal-view room if you can, it's just nice to look outside and people watch. You can hear people outside, so keep that in mind, but it's a quiet street, so it should be an issue. The only thing I would change is to not be next to the stairs. Lots of delivery options are available, which is nice if you just want to stay in. The only weird thing is that the HDMI is locked, so you can't plug in to watch Netflix from your laptop, and it's not a smart TV. If anyone travels like us, then I'd thought you'd like to know. But seriously, we'd go back anytime!
All is perfect. It's clean, not expensive, in a sweet area, nice people working there and we would definitely stay here again. The rooms are really cool, not big, but enough space for only a hotel room. One thing we noticed you here much noises from other people, which for me isn't a problem i sleep soon and very deep. :)
Little hidden gem!
Very nice design rooms for the price you pay, clean and pretty big. There's free tea, coffee and mint&lemon infused water in the lounge/breakfast area. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Very pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect to roam around and get lost in the cobblestones street. Room is a good side and we got a view of the river which gives our stay a whole new feel. Coffee and tea all day complimentary. Only downside is the very small shower space but overall worth your penny.
