The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Amsterdam with all the canals, bridges & historical city mansions. There are many restaurants and lovely authentic shops ( no chains!!). The hotel itself is very nice. The room we stayed in had everything we needed and I love how it was decorated and styled. But the stairs are very narrow and steep and there is no elevator so keep that in mind!!
Tiny hotel very close to Amsterdam center. Small, affordable, but comfortable rooms, hospitable staff.

We had high hopes for this cozy hotel. When we got there it was easy check in and friendly service. Once we got to our room we feel in love with how cute and cozy it was. We went out shortly after unpacking. When we got back, we stayed to talking. While we were talking we heard a faint scratching noise coming from the walls so we thought, okay, there's probably a mouse considering how old the city is. We didn't think too much about it. As we continue to talk and now about 30 minutes past, the noise got lose and just odd but again didn't think much of it but knew it was very strange. My husband fell asleep but I stayed up why the lights on, now paranoid that we had a mouse in the room. Well about an hour later, I turn my head to face my husband as he slept, and to my surprise there was a mouse on the brick wall next to us. It scattered down and went under the bed. We quickly gathered our bags and left. They wanted to charge us for the few hours we were there but we politely disagreed. They didn't fight us on it but were rude abd basically said, "what do you except, this is an old city. Just watch, the next hotel you go to will also have them", as if it was common and okay for the rooms to come with mouse as roommates. Although the hotel was cute, it was not okay to have mouse on the room. Will never go back.
