Sir Albert is a great hotel in a wonderful area (De Pijp / Albert Cuyp Market / Oud-Zuid District) in Amsterdam. The service at the hotel was excellent with very helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, well designed and instyle too. I enjoyed a very comfortable overnight stay!
Nice hotel, but don't think for a second they will make their loyalty members feel special. When asking at check-in about included breakfast (due to being a titanium member) they told me they would need to know up front if I wanted to have breakfast. At checkout I was told it wasn't included, and that the Marriott loyalty program didn't have any benefits at their hotel. Would have been honest of them to clarify this up front instead of when presenting the bill. As a result I won't be staying here anymore, and can highly recommend the Apollo Hotel that's part of Marriott as an alternative.
Edit after reply: I did not sign anything except the regular non-smoking policy. I was not made aware of the fees for the breakfast in any way. This reply again proves how this hotel deals with customers.
Probably the cleanest hotel I ever slept in.. Great service, well located, nice room, and friendly & helpful staff! Totally reccommended!
