The hotel has good infrastructure, my room was quite big and the kitchen had everything I need, except for some oven or microwave. The restaurant is good and the prices are fair, I can say the same about the bar. (edit: they have to make better pizzas or stop offering them, we bought two pizzas very disappointing, the other dishes that we tried were good, tough). Very close to some nice beaches. Friendly staff.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. Cheryl is an incredible hostess and her villa is immaculate, well appointed and relaxing in a good location.
We felt extremely safe and Cheryl’s Covid19 precautions and the level of cleanliness went a long way to ensuring we felt secure.
Breakfasts were delicious and changed daily with lots of unexpected treats. We also loved the way Cheryl gave us excellent suggestions for days out, walks, local restaurants, best beaches etc. Indeed Cheryl even had suggestions for the place we visited once we moved on. Her knowledge of Portugal is excellent.
Whilst we did use the car during our stay there was also plenty of decent restaurants and walks we could do without the car. The cliff walk was particularly stunning.
Our upstairs bedroom was lovely and we had the use of two beautifully appointed balconies as the other couple were staying downstairs.
The swimming pool was great and made for a nice refreshing swim. The pool area, garden and views are great. Both pool and beach towels were supplied by Cheryl.
We hope to go back in the future and highly recommend staying in this gem.
This will be one of the top exclusive resorts in the Algarve.
Beautiful setting 3 minutes stroll down to a beautiful beach and a fabulous beach restaurant.
Can’t wait until the W Algarve Hôtel Opens.
