Uninterrupted sandy beach, amazing cliff views, warm sun beachside restaurants and cold sea
Living in Dubai and spending weekends in Abu Dhabi for the past eight years totally distorted my expectations when it comes to attentive service and stellar resorts. Thankfully for Pine Cliffs Resort, its location is pristine, its property possesses quaint charm of bygone days and its staff possesses the nonchalant charm that the Portugueuse have perfected since the days of Magellan and Christopher Columbus. From the cocktails and cuisine to the spa, sprawling beach and stunning views, one must experience this resort. As proffered to me sans prompting by Lisboa-based service staff, high season is a time to avoid the resort with the influx of both national holidaymakers, but also a steady flow of French, British and Canadians tourists. Maybe because of the ongoing global pandemic, it wasn't crazed when I enjoyed the resort in August.

i did not enjoy going here because in the pool, tiles were falling off and they were chipped giving me a huge scar down my leg.
This resort seems to have everything. Comfortable rooms, a variety of restaurants, lots of pools including a heated indoor one. The setting is superb, a spectacular range of trees and palms, mingling with flowering shrubs and perennials. I will come again even though it is a bit expensive. Charming and attentive staff.
